We hope to make Reading Japan Club a community for people living, working or studying in the Reading area. So Wokingham, Windsor, Bracknell, etc. All welcome. We aim to have a monthly get-together where people can make new friends, meet old friends, talk and drink in an informal atmosphere.
レディングやレディング近辺に住んでいる人、働いている人、勉強している人達のためのコミュニティになればと願っています。もちろん、ウォーキンガムやウィンザー、ブラックネルの人などなど、誰でも大歓迎です。

Please turn up before or after that time, as is convenient for you, but you can at least expect to see a few faces from 5pm onwards.
We've arranged to have the front room to ourselves this time, and all ages are welcome until 8pm,
but no children after 8pm.
People are able to share their experiences of Japan
with others who have visited or lived there, or find out about Japan
if they haven't been there yet. People who are learning Japanese
can practice their language skills and those who are already
proficient can usually find a number of native speakers to converse with.
日本へ行ったことがある人や住んだことのある人と日本での体験を分かち合ったり、行ったことのない人は日本を知る良い機会になるとよいなと思っています。
また、日本語を習っている人は練習できたり、日本語が上手な人は日本人とおしゃべりをすることができます。
For Japanese visitors and students there will be the opportunity to meet local people
with an interest in Japan and to speak English with native speakers, as well as meeting
other Japanese people who are staying or living in Reading. You can find out about
local places of interest and events and perhaps get some help with English language problems.
日本からの旅行者や学生には、日本に興味のある現地の人と出会ったり、英語で話したりすることができますし、レディング地域に住む日本人と会うチャンスです。地域のことや面白い場所、イベントなどを見つけたり、英語で困ったときの助けにもなるかもしれません。
